What I don't understand about the constant fuss over the narratives that legacy media spread, is how people even engage with it. Especially here in Germany.

Let it go, people, let it go. Let go of the delusion about the 'fourth power'. It's all nonsense. It always has been. They are commercial companies trying to sell their trashy papers. And for that, they lie, incite hatred, and sometimes act very racially when it sells.

But why do you still feed them? With engagement, with clicks (they live off that too), or even by buying and reading them (<- the worst). Just ignore them, leave them be, don’t click, don’t talk about them, don’t read them. Just let them bleed out. It’s very simple, I know it, I’ve been doing it since the '90s.

But there’s still this co-dependence, this habit, this seemingly insatiable urge to let the media guide you and your moral values. Weak. Leave them behind. No one needs them.

True. I can ignore legacy media. However, I cannot ignore the reality that this media creates (even when it is completely build on lies).

For me, these people who believe the media are lost. NPCs. Agents of the Matrix. I can totally ignore their opinions as well.
