I'll play Powerball or Mega when the number hits 999, but not before. I realized after playing the Lotto a few times that Bitcoin gives me better odds, and I get to keep whatever capital I put into it.
I get that, and it’s valid, but the downside is that that “hope” is precisely why so many poor people squander so much money on lotteries. (Here in Florida some will try to swap their food stamps for money to buy them.)
