Yes. They are wicking beds. I’ve been posting as we built them, so you can take a look back at what is inside. I’m really excited. I think they will work well. Our plan is to cover them and make them look nice of course.

Will check that out. Thanks! Also, does compost type matter if used in a bed like that - use bacteria or fungi dominant?

I’m not sure, but I think I have heard #[4]​ talk about this lately. If I had to guess from what I have heard/read, I would say bacteria because it is similar to aquaponics and I believe you want beneficial bacteria to populate the medium in the wicking chamber.
