Here's a fun rabbit hole for you guys : the word "anarchy," which I know is nothing new, but theres a Christian layer of meaning. When Paul wrote that line about about struggling against principalities and rulers, the word he used for 'ruler' was "archon."

"Anarchy" = an (none) archons (rulers)

The word has been secularized, but originally it meant the archons of the planets, like how astrology has planetary houses, which "rule" the lives and seasons of the earth. These archons are basically demons, or bosses of demons, and they keep human souls imprisoned on earth.
