Not having monthly subscriptions won’t stop any growth what so ever if bounties and grants are still a thing.. as well as individuals like yourself zapping devs whenever they drop an update that’s valuable to them. I’d say we need to make that more of the norm, not look to make users add on new subscriptions to the ones they already pay. I agree they aren’t slaves n neither should they be wage slaves with monthly income. Why not find a solution to pay off their entire year of work, so they can focus solely on this.. most are not focused entirely on nostr, most still have their own day jobs/businesses. this needs to be discussed n talked about more bc subscriptions just isn’t it.
