I'm curious, can intelligence agencies pretend to be bitcoiner to discredit Bitcoin and create psychological operations (PSYOP) on other market participants?

if not, then what's stopping them? Isn't the game worth the effort?

I don’t think this dude I am speaking to is a from intelligence agency lol. It’s possible though.

I know him from a bitcoin group chat we are both in. He messaged me out of the blue today. He’s messaged me before few months ago.

The question is: What for? The mainsteam public has been psyop'ed for a long time, to an extent that they put bitcoin and eth and other shitcoins in one row, calling them "high-risk assets". Psyop'ing hardcore bitcoin devs who hold most of bitcoin makes no sense, while the intermediate layer (the average nostr user) holds so little bitcoin that it's unlikely to cause major changes.
