I’m very selective. Not walking into an environment with anyone I don’t respect.
Most of the people I’ve met from #btc IRL I’d choose to never associate with again.
To be blunt: I’m not necessarily opposed to it. It’s the way it’s all been presented that leaves me feeling:

Yeah. I’m sure that’s true. It’s glorified in video but my experience is that I had to feel in love with the woman and that even then it took practice to get really good. Doing it in a room full of uncommitted people would probably be fairly empty and a mixed bag, at best.

How did all those relationships fare over time? Did they survive the encounter for long? A group entails a lot of complex interpersonal chemistry, which I would imagine would be at least altered afterward.

It’s all so varied it’s hard to speak of to each relationship as they are varied. My old neighbors had a party monthly. TRULY never went as my partner was definitely NOT into it. But the wife & I spoke. Never did anything with her either out of respect for my partner.
