Think of it this way…
Big words encode a lot of meaning, so they’re like a shortcut — I could say Scionic Merkle DAG-Tree, for example, which means something really specific…
But if the listener doesn’t know what that big word means, then the big word just makes it even harder for the listener to understand…
It takes more effort to explain something in a simple way where a beginner will catch-on completely, than to resort to using the big code words you’re familiar with that everyone else isn’t.
Big words make it easier for the explainer but harder for the listener. Distilling it down takes more effort but it yields more fruit too. Big words are just nice when you want to refer to something quickly without giving a summary on it.
