why not both? there's ways to sync audio inside GIF format..
audio and video always to my knowledge is a .mov format . Curious how that would work in .gif format . Can you provide an example ?

but they need extension to play (or special server) so.. not yet
GIF is cool og meme thing but clunky
hash is the more interesting product imo, if not time itself
