I want to cook it myself and there's literally no place to buy steak nearby.
I can understand that. While there are stores selling steaks in my area, I’ve really taken to heart getting to know your farmer and rancher. We have meat delivered by the actual rancher every few weeks. And we are not in an area anyone would think is a beef producing area. I’d encourage you to find a connection, through your local community. Hoping there’s something out there for you that will work. My rancher got us connected to a dairy farmer, and now I help coordinate weekly milk and dairy pick ups. A year ago I would have never thought that possible. Good luck!

At some point maybe but not being driven at this moment to put the energy and effort to find those connects right now in a place I may not be for another week.
