My computer has just shut down and when I managed to turn it on again the date is set to December 31st. It seems my Mac travelled to the past! 😜

Do you have any idea of what’s happening? Can anyone here help me?

If it's an older computer, chances are it needs the CMOS battery on the motherboard replaced.

The average life of a cmos battery is about 3-5 years and they can last up to about 10 years, it really depends on how you use your computer.

Rendez vous le plus rapidement possible chez un très réparateur, surtout pas de manipulation de votre part au risque de se retrouver comme moi il y a 2 ans, en tentant de réparer toute seule j 'ai effacé tout ce que contenait mon ordinateur de plus de 15 ans . Et ca me fend le cœur puisque je conserve toutes mes informations personnelles et professionnelles informatique ment.. 🍀💜

Turn off the switch, unplug the machine. Plug again. Turn on the swich (repeat until fixed). 👨🏻‍🔧⚡
