Is it important that Blackrock disclose its wallets in order to see how much BTC they really hold? Not divulging this could help them obscure any corruption or papering over of #bitcoin.

I don't really give a shit. If they are stupid enough to rehypothecate the most bullish asset in the history of human civilization they deserve what's coming to them. But this is very unlikely to be the case.

What do you think would happen when bitcoin hits 100k, 250k, 1 million USD and ETF holders are taking profit and diversifying into other things? Large institutions rebalancing their portfolios?

Blackrock would become insolvent almost instantly. The largest capital asset manager in the world is not going to naked short bitcoin by holding USD instead of bitcoin when investors give them money for the spot ETF.
