If someone is tardy two days in a row, that makes them retardy.
I can't decide if I want to overuse the word so they stop using it or just keep laughing at how dumb people are.

tarde means afternoon in portuguese too, and fundamentally it just means "late" or "behind the middle" as far as development, and "retard" as a verb is basically putting a brake on something, so it is travelling slower and comes to the destination later
