When adding Amber to obtainium it should automatically show only the apks that are compatible with your device, then you just need to choose the play version if you don't want to use the ntfy application to handle your push notifications.

If you want to use ntfy them download the free version.

Thanks, would you say ntfy involves much of a learning curve? Also, is F-droid easier/better than Obtanium? What is the likely timeline for you guys launching in the F-droid store?

I prefer using obtainium to download apps but I think it's harder to install apps with obtainium.

Using ntfy was easy, I just installed it, installed amber and then nfty already started working

Thanks for sharing your advice and experience. Obtanium sounds like a good thing to be getting into if you are into installing apks, so I will check it out, thanks again!

Sorry, one more question. I've now installed Obtanium. But what is the app source url to generate the dialogue box shown above? Thanks!

Hi. What is the difference between free and offline?

The offline version can only talk to native apps, the online version can use bunker login usually web apps have this

Do you recommend I download from F-Droid or Obtainium? Would the offline version keep my nsec more secure? Can the offline version generate new keys? Thank you. Sorry if many questions.

I prefer using obtanium or zapstore because the releases are faster there.

You can generate new keys using the offline version.

In theory your keys are safer when offline but im not a security expert

Thank you. I hope to be able to zap you in the future when I can.
