In my latest piece for Forbes Crypto, I cover the great work by nostr:npub155m2k8ml8sqn8w4dhh689vdv0t2twa8dgvkpnzfggxf4wfughjsq2cdcvg in standardising the Lightning Network payment experience for Bitcoin conferences, with case studies from nostr:npub1yul83qxn35u607er3m7039t6rddj06qezfagfqlfw4qk5z5slrfqu8ncdu’s Baltic HoneyBadger 2023 conference and the nostr:npub1h493d0qgwhu95s82zd9sxrt3ckn3ttgvaf04z02neckadxw5fkvqte4cwz 2024 conference.

"[...] BTCPay Server is building, iterating, and rolling out what is becoming the standard for Bitcoin payment experience over the Lightning Network, all through the power of open-source code and a talented group of global volunteers and developers."

I'm intrigued by that remaining 20%.

I've never attended a bitcoin conference. Guess I just assumed that if there was one event anywhere on the planet that had 100% merchant acceptance, it would be at a bitcoin conference.

"80% of the merchants said they would accept Bitcoin again at the next conference"
