Meh, they've already got a free platform- the real world. Blocking hate speech online isn't going to stop hate speech. Plus, who draws the line as to what is or isn't hate speech?

Also, with nostr, if you don't like what someone is saying you can instantly block them.

Don't want to hear hate word 'x', just block all posts containing hate word 'x'

Spot on πŸ’―. Taking away your "free will" does not sit well for me. Yes, there are people who are negative but there is the "mute" option. As for PD or violence, I do not agree with it. If they intend to do crimes, they will always find a way regardless of the tool. Unless they are "properly stopped". But I do not believe the tool (online, tech, internet, etc) itself is the problem. ☺️
