So do we think Balaji is serious?

I think the attention is valuable to him, so burning a small portion of his many millions for attention is a good trade.

I think he also thinks he's right, but given the first thing I said, his conviction probably isn't quite as strong as it sounds.

Frankly I think his scenario has at least a 3% chance of happening. Maybe even 5%. I don't know what number he would say but probably he would put it higher.

Yep. He is all about growing his following and influence. The 1m lost is nothing compared to the influence he can wield with a larger following.

But $2 million is a lot to pay for some more Twitter followers. And of his scenario doesn’t materialize, doesn’t this permanently torch his credibility? Seems pretty flawed as a publicity play.

Ego got the best of him perhaps? I don’t know.

Man next time someone decides to throwaway $1M ffs, I hope they remember I’m right here 🙋‍♀️ Throw away all you want to me

😆

No

He’s risking $2 million, so I guess he’s serious.

No, he's not serious. If he was serious he would wager his dick like the OG McAfee

Excellent point. If you aren’t gambling your manhood, what are you even doing?

Not at all.

He said he wasn't yesterday, he's just trying to draw attention to the insolvent banking system and let people know that there is an alternative.

(Who knows what his true motives are)

Where did he say that?

On the twitter spaces w/Breedlove and Gladstein

Oh really? Huh. Do you know if that happens to have been recorded?

I find it to be a very grandiose attempt to ring the bell

Yeah, this is more or less where I stand

No. But he’s a good marketer you can give him that !

Not how I'm used to seeing Balaji operate, but we'll see.

Sure. Now, which Balaji are we talking about?
