A comp reached out for feedback on a new product and wants me to sign an NDA.
This requires me to KYC with my passport or ID.

The fiat standard. When a mans word means nothing.
It depends whether by normal you mean the actual norm or your ideal.
If it’s worth money to you, set up an offshore company with nominee shareholders/officers and have that Company sign the nda & give feedback - for a fee.
Otherwise - don’t.
