I prefer bear markets to bull markets quite a bit.

NGU is very distracting and in a way unmotivating.

Why bother working for x per day when your holdings are making way more while you do nothing?

Bull markets also have the maximum amount of scammers, each cycle more sinister than the last.

And you just earned more sats for that, sorry πŸ˜‚

I’ve always wondered why people are excited by NGU. Why would you celebrate paying more for sats? I get excited when I see number go down. I know Bitcoin will win in the end, so why would I want to rush it?

My time preference is low and all I want to do is accumulate at low prices.

Depends on the size of your stack and your current income.

If you make let's say $100k/yr and your coin value goes up $50k in one day, you will get excited

NGU is how you know when you can retire. https://observablehq.com/@jimbojw/wen-moon

Sure, though I’d argue that if you understand bitcoin, you know that’s going to happen regardless, and thus I’m more excited by low priced accumulation given the certainty of it one day becoming much more valuable

I’m here for the bear markets.

I agree, bull markets reinforce the speculation narrative which distracts from the real potential to deliver individual sovereignty.

There's good in both πŸ™‚

🐻 Has more innovation, discussion, deeper understanding, opportunities for big stacks, but also a lot of infighting and drama, friends and family think you're a regard

πŸ‚Has more people joining the network, emotions are high, more people dreaming together about what can be, collective feeling of winning together, family and friends consider you less regarded

I like it when bitcoin is cheap, because my wages are higher.
