Ecash is cool, but it has very different properties than Monero.

Even Calle, the creator of Cashu, has said it's not a replacement for Monero.

If you're going to go with a custodian for something Ecash is a simply a better way to do custodians.

You could even do ecash based on Monero it isn't exclusive to Bitcoin.
