You are talking about a small fraction of bitcoiners. None of us who are sane worship money, or Michael Saylor. To the majority he is just another whale with fat stacks. That satoshi says awe that's cute! When it comes to how much bitcoin is owned by him.
We are just devout in our belief that bitcoin is truly one of the only best and proven sound money currencies in existence. That we do not want to participate in financial systems by using evil slave debt notes known as fiat currencies anymore.
No religion.
No cult.
No saviors aside from Satoshi.
Just sound fucking money for all mankind.
Bitcoin is cool and all
but the *vast majority of "bitcoiners" are cheering for NGU and fiat degens entering the space.
even here on nostr my feed is just constant price memes and insecure plebs anxious for validation from normies
which has got fuck all to do with bitcoin as freedom technology

since we're basically already ossified,
institutions entering the space is NOT in the long-term interest of the network
but everybody would rather just say "Bitcoin is inevitable" and think about how rich they're going to be
than actually think critically about how we scale and the threats involved.
Overall I think that Bitcoin appeals to a wider variety of people. You have it transforming the lives of people in poorer countries. Using it in every day life for everything. They are the beta testers for a new paradigm shift.
Our sit back and stack fat stacks is just a different class of people. Who are either already rich, or are just trying to stay humble. Keeping each other in a positive mindset.

I really hate it the most when bitcoin maxis insist that bitcoin makes alts obsolete, it brings sovereignty to the masses, it protects you from this and that, but they haven't done any of the BIPs necessary to actually deliver on these things. self-custody doesn't even scale right now. they literally sound like ethereum people when they make promises they haven't actually delivered yet.

Yesterday I went on reddit to check in on r/buttcoin
But I found that r/bitcoin was full of degenerates and r/cryptocurrency was based and humble.
I think some people forgot their lessons. I wish Saylor the best.
