I know what you meant. I should've clarified a bit more. I was suggesting that this sort of behavior has a tendency to generate mixed feelings among both genders. Obviously, this is not the case for everyone though.

Yeah, must create such a weird dynamic.
I'm not into that shit. I'm got 99 problems and a BDSM-fetish ain't one.
Yup. Alotta women like a man who knows how to take control. The whole BDSM fetish makes me very uncomfortable, tbh.
Sure a lot of men do too. I would be curious on the percentage of each that prefers dominant role. Likewise the submissive role. Maybe i can get government money to do a study? 🤔
My theory is that it's a way for them to emotionally cope with men who are otherwise too unmanly. He has to reassert himself in the bedroom, or something.
So, if the only place where he's leading is the bedroom, then he has to be almost ridiculously dominant.
Personally, I think alot of men of the past two generations have become overly concerned with appeasing everyone. This has led to alot of them becoming very effeminate in some ways. Many seem to have forgotten or are scared to be assertive.
You can be simultaneously assertive and respectful. I'm not sure many understand that as well as they think.
