I’m slowly coming to the opinion that Bitcoin Core’s influence over the codebase undermines Bitcoin decentralization.

If someone needs a feature that requires changing Bitcoin’s properties it should not be Core’s responsibility to fulfill those wishes. Instead, if you need something go out and build it yourself. That’s the point of decentralization.

Most people don’t need Bitcoin to store any data on the blockchain. They need to be able to store, send and receive Bitcoin in cheap, reliable and decentralized way.

That’s it.

All the arguments of “pragmatists” who want to store random data on blockchain are pure gaslighting. Finding reasonable arguments to explain “benefits” without reviling your true motives and intentions. We all know you want to make money by selling vapor to plebs who do not have sufficient knowledge to see how useless your vapor is.
