I lived my life thinking that optical audio cables (TOSLINK) are the best for audio quality 😂
I just realized that’s not true. And using HDMI audio is generally more capable.

What makes you say that? Interested because I've been using toslink as well.
It all started by me asking ChatGPT what eARC is. Only to learn that it’s Enhanced Audio Return Channel 😂 and it’s designed for audio output basically.
In simple terms, HDMI can carry more data. And so enables more features.
