how would the Bitcoin network work in a post-apocaliptic world where ISPs no longer exist?

Ham radio?? Morse code?

that's neither accessible to your average Joe nor easy to use

Bitcoin won't survive on just ham radio

Agreed. What’s the better alternative?? How to digital currency without the digital?

honestly, I have no clue

it would be feasible for one to have a running node. the problem here would be connecting it to other nodes

mesh networks? also, if there's an economic incentive for something, it will be eventually built

how could you create that network?

in the time shortly after the apocalypse there won't be economic incentive to build anything. if Bitcoin is to survive that, it should be easy to setup and access the network

Something decentralized?

it will always be decentralised

my question is what technology could we use it to access Bitcoin's network?

Satellite-based connectivity may be our best solution

maybe starlinks' or oneweb's code gets leaked or open sourced in the far future

Radio but we’d need 300KB blocks.
