I am 30,000 words into writing my first sci-fi novel. GM.

gm! have you properly sequestered yourself in a cabin in the woods with a barrel of whiskey? 😎
Working on that

I too am planning a sci fi story.
Are you a writer, and plan as you go, or do you plan everything that is a background element, then create the story in the world build?
Lots more writing, lots less planning. I have a document of ideas that I keep separate. I've completely rewritten every chapter at least once and it was a good thing to do.
Abby Emmons on YouTube recommends writing 100 words every day. Most often it turns into 1000 words and a nice part of a chapter.
I find myself in a bit of a conundrum.
Years ago I was keen on creative writing, was even accepted into a university program for professional writing.
Life happens, and fast forward about two decades; here I am building out a story world for my characters to live in.
By rights, my creative nature is messy and disorganized.
Enter AI.
It's been helping me stay focused and organized. I have established an encyclopedia for the story and each day, I contribute a bit more.
AI also helps me plug up the plot holes.
The conundrum lays with the use and pushback against AI.
I don't see any problems unless AI is creating the final output

That's awesome, Good morning ✌️🧡
