I think programmers will be the ones best suited to collaborate with and utilize AI
But the AI can't improve itself, it still need programmers
It will be able to eventually. Also, consider the fact that it can help humans improve itself. There's a feedback loop there that could lead to a self recursive improvement takeoff.

I really don't think so- in the same way that compilers removed the need for machine code but not programmers, there will always be a need for people who think things into existence
until AGI, but then it's nobody's problem
