The same people who want likes to be gone are liking notes … and not zapping 🤦♂️
Cmon y’all … either practice what you preach or I dunno… acknowledge that likes have value such as showing that you’ve seen the note or reply.

Likes are more than acknowledgement, I read a lot of notes but "like" or react to only a few, it's mostly an acknowledgement that the note made me feel "something", whatever that means.

I frequently react+zap since many zaps error. To "zap only" would mean many notes get nothing.
i live in a third world country, can't afford to zap every post i like 🤣

Playing with all the clients over time, I dig the Amethyst reaction emoji angle so you can just let someone know their joke hit or look at this, "ah" or whatever. Bringing pennies into that realm of mere reaction can ruin it I think. Leave the tips for things deserving a tip.
Its seeing a tip cup at a fast food joint type of lame maybe, I don't know but there should be a full spectrum available to communicate efficiently.
