YouTube was started in 2005. I remember how small it was in the early days. It felt like a secret that normies don’t know about. Today, YouTube is the only place to watch this Friday night football game. Don’t underestimate how much progress can be made in 20 years. Where will bitcoin be in 20 years?

Link won’t open, what is it?

won't open because it's a sportsbook that prob requires you to be outside of the us. most sportsbooks have the games streaming.

Does it take lightning? 😂

Yes, it takes lightning and has no KYC or minimum deposits.

I’ve lost so much fucking money on that website lol

I almost only use it for streaming video and arbitraging Predyx markets.

Get good 😂

Bolt the fuck up.

I have Ladd McConkey on my fantasy team

His rookie year was incredible.

I know I had him last year too. I think they made a mistake drafting Tre Harris 😂

When you have Herbo at QB, you want that receiving depth I guess. 🤷🏻

They’re throwing the shit outta the ball tonight.

I love it. Throw all day!

Can’t be a bigger mistake than QJ. Even tho he had a great first half tonight.

That’s true. QJ is very athletic and actually good with the ball in his hands. But he doesn’t run routes well and those big plays usually come off drags. Those big plays will happen occasionally but that type of player isn’t worth the draft capital they paid.

Fuck no. All the chargers fans were mad as fuck about QJ.

They were streaming NBA games as well!

Was it YouTube or YouTube tv?

In India it was YouTube

They were streaming big games for free

Wild. Imagine where nostr will be in 18 years

People say we're early in terms of Bitcoin adoption.

I say we're still early in terms of internet adoption itself.

The internet is nowhere near its final form.

The Internet may just be one of those things that are formless

Haha yeah you're right

But my point was that there seemed to be a sense that social experience was always going to be driven by walled gardens, ads and algorithms. Nostr is going to disrupt this in a big way.

Similarly, there's a sense now that trusted third parties at the ISP-level are always going to exist. Risk includes being captured by the state. I wonder what that's going to look like in 18 years.

I imagine that people are going to continue developing tools to circumvent those things. Motivated individuals will always work more efficiently than bureaucrats in government.

We'll be watching football games on the blockchain?

Yes the field will be built on the blockchain

Mass adoption. Strong censorship resistance. Huge gains. Improvement of privacy tools.

Still not good enough for the monero bros 😂

As I told you before. You are talking to early Bitcoiners from 2009 to 2012 when addressing us Monero Bros. We know our shit and we know the flaws. It's a one way street. Fiat > Bitcoin > Monero. Don't hate on those further along the journey. I don't hate you for wanting to get fiat rich either. You are still smarter than 80% of the rest of the planet by seeing through the fiat scam.

I don't care if you have no use case for privacy, but I know damn well that early Bitcojners do care. It's out of pure self interest that we do not want to publish our holdings to the whole world.

I have a use case for privacy lmao just because I don’t use a shitcoin like monero doesn’t mean I don’t care about privacy. I just think store of value is what will ultimately make it the winner of all money and I’m not trying to be on the losing team for some sense of superiority or self righteousness.

I've used it for YEARS, and still do. I create content on there, and would eventually like to get that mirrored onto a Nostr-based service, just in case YouTube decides my stuff breaks their ToS sometime soon.
