Normie's like her need a MoE not a speculative investment. She's not talking about her stocks or ETFs here.
She need's money / Monero.

Btc is exactly what she needs, MoE thanks to LN. Monero isn’t the solution because her issue at this point is privacy.
Doubt she'll be able to use LN in a non-custodial way which means she doesn't get any privacy from LN.
My point is that her issue atm isn’t privacy, and that’s not minimising the importance of privacy, she needs to be “unbanked” without taking away the capabilities to transact both offline and online.
Monero is foremost about fungibility of the money.
Privacy is just the means to achieve fungibility.
Ok i hear you, but how does a newbie like her get around the liquidity issues associated with Monero, given the delistings from CEX's where most newbies interact for the first time with digital currencies? What infrastructure exists today that would enable her to spend xmr in meat-space? These aren't gotcha questions, but I am genuinely asking how these hurdles will be overcome to enable xmr mainstream adoption.
Her point is that she wants to keep her identity.
The real question is how many more banks she needs until the cognitive dissonance breaks her up.
From what I understand based off of her responses in pods when this came up, she is still quite skeptical of BTC, so it's probably going to take an extinction level event to shake her up or if another nice lady who is a peer that gets it were to have a chat with her about it
