I was having a similar conversation with a friend a week ago and got egg on my face.
Comparing bitcoin to NVIDIA, AMAZON, META, pretty much any tech company, outperformed bitcoin in the last 4 years and the last 5.
So would you outperform Warren Buffet? Probably not. Did we outperform the market, I think so.

Why are the sources so different?
Look at nvidia: -9.96 % in 5 years in sats.
But in dollars:
- BTC was up 300%
- NVIDIA was up 3,358%
Is this a difference between market cap vs share price? Because then it is the share price that really matters here.

Performance of Nvidia is for the last 5 years higher than bitcoin, I see nasdaq as proxy for most tech stocks, the last five years is the bitcoin performance against the nasdaq much better as you can see.
Some tech stocks has a better return than bitcoin in dollar terms but it is a very small group.

Yes, I’ve modeled it. It almost doesn’t matter what the 90% consists of, whether cash, stock or bonds.
