I tend to kinda disagree. Most are selfishly stacking sats for themselves and own personal gain in the future.
It only takes 10000sats(about $3 rn) from 10000 plebs and we could change someone's life every month and actually promote all of what bitcoin and nostr stand for while also forcing winds of change, kinda the same way blackrock does to benefit themselves long run.
But, we're not.
We're here still stuck in old social media habits shitnoting, showing off and building followings.
We could be doing so much more....
Part of Satoshi’s genius was devising a system that harnesses greed as an insentive to promote adoption.
As my time preference lowers day by day via my ever growing understanding of ₿itcoin, I can see a very bright future for humanity ahead. This future may be 100 years away and that’s ok.
But, couldn't greed actually also be what causes bitcoin to not replace money if enough people don't have it before the s curve?
Won't they just be stuck using the cbdc because they couldn't afford bitcoin and we didn't teach them for our own personal gain?
CBDC’s will be intoxicating and irresistible to many, yes. Few understand that there is an opt in escape hatch even when they are shown it. I tend not to dwell on things I have little or no control over. Rather, I choose to spend my most precious and valuable resource, time, on things I can have a positive effect upon.
The rest will sort itself out. People will use ₿itcoin when they want to. It will always be there for anyone to benefit from. Forever.

I don't think your understanding what I'm saying.
Folks won't be choosing CBDCs because they want to. They will be forced to because we didn't force change in the opposite direction, due to our own greed.
The more people we get sats to, the more people we take the time to teach, the more people we lift out of poverty with bitcoin....the less likely they are to accept being force fed the CBDC that's coming within 10yrs and the more likely bitcoin is to actually replace fiat.
You can sit back if you want. But I won't be.
I would like to think that everyone here on #Nonstr is playing some roll in the story of societal #Bitcoin awareness & adoption.

Thinking on this some more.
Generosity is not just giving money. I see bitcoiners giving time and energy to a common cause and to each other freely and with openly.
Come for the NGU, stay for the societal global revolution.
Bitcoin is nothing without Layer 0. The time and energy of bitcoiners. It’s more scarce than block space.
