Just mad some wax pieces using some soft clay and melted wax to pour in the shapes … I want to make a box to pit a ding in I am making for my partner so I’m going to form a frame I can solder sides , a bottom and a lid onto , as GN with some sort rnaments in copper and silver. The frame will be brass

For me , learning lost wax casting is like when I would learn a new technique in painting , design , or drawing ,, I juts started making something. In this instance . All I thought was maybe that would be cool, a brass cube …. As I worked the wax and learned how to use all the tools, my cube , if all goes well, it will house a ring I’m making at the same time to give to my girlfriend. I had no idea of the connection and now I’m trying to figure out if I can build my own wax caster , lol..
