Being someone who got into bitcoin after joining Nostr has been fun.
My main goal for joining was the interest in how nostr could be a safe haven for Iran, which is still what I try to work on everyday with my friends in Iran.
Learning about bitcoin was just a major plus :)

I have been to Tehran on some business delegation 10ish years ago and it stayed in my heart forever.
I have also scratched the surface of Zoroastrianism and I do believe that the land and people of Iran have to be freed for the sake of world and humanity evolution in the right direction.
Keep up and let’s hope the change will come and we all can be proud of small things we have done in the right direction.

The road that led me to dig into Zoroastrianism was through Sufism and I believe that actually the Sufism started within the Zoroastrianism and when Persia fell, the Sufis were the one that were preserving the original faith, mimicking into other religions depending on the region.
I don't know anything about modern Zoroastrianism but I guess the truth is the same in every aspect of life.

I use Orbot, and yes it is so slow.
If you want to use Tor with a VPN, ProtonVPN offers this, this can be practical but forget anonymity if you are doing this, since all your traffic will be routed through your VPN servers
So can I assume that Express is a waist of time and money?

Tor Browser is the official client, and it’s the best I think.
That’s my subconscious talking about Damus instead of Nostr, because it’s the client I use the most. 😅
VPNs do not provide anonymity, they only shift trust to your VPN provider, and hide your traffic from your ISP.
Tor is what should be used if your friends are looking for anonymity
