Does anybody know what the wss:// thing is with all the relays . I'm not a very techy person , and I know it's some sort of protocol for sending information , but I've never heard of it before , what is it ?

wss:// is the equivalent of https:// but for the websocket protocol vs http

wss is Websocket Secure

ws is Websocket

Nostr uses persistent bi-directional connections to relays over the websocket protocol.

Oh wow , definetly going to look more into this , there are so many developments that are happening so rapidly that if you are not in the space , it can be confusing to keep up with it all. Thanks for filling me in appreciate it .
