it is. i just let them do the talking. all oil is bad for health so the best way to cook is grill or steamed or boiled.

but among all the vegetable oil, palm oil is the most resistsnt to heat (only problem if you buy you goreng pisang [ banana fritters) from the roadside stall they recycle the oil too much so it gets hydrogenated).

Why is all oil bad for health?

because almost all oil is in SFA state which upon hydrogenation solidifies and clogs arteries. the exception is of course PUFA oil like olive oil but problem with olive oil it cannot reach the ideal temperature (and for sustained period) for most asian style of cooking
