They are left with a personal/social context of finally needing to improve their person values and skills, since their societal value has dropped. Whereas, this is what young men go through, since their societal value is low. Young men learn skills and build their kingdoms, and then their societal value grows. When men reach middle age their societal value is often climbing, while with women, especially if they've been leaning on their looks for years, their societal value is declining.
