If he has no money, he has trouble finding a woman who would take him broke. If he has money, he has trouble finding a woman who doesn't just want his money.

Same thing as with female beauty, I suppose.

Many of the couples my wife and I are friends with met in college. Everyone is broke in college, so maybe that levels things.
