Why do people eat them?

Just like any other plant, but for some reason here in NA they’re seen as “weeds” to be discarded.

I like them cooked in bacon grease with a splash of red wine vinegar

Sounds good! I’ll have to try it.

When I see a good patch I dig them up and move them to a more convenient area to make harvesting easier.

Until today, I had no idea. Thanks!

They are bitter, most people don’t seem to like them, but I think they are tasty.

That's why is best to grow them everywhere so you can find the less bitter ones too 🙂

Same with chick weed wolf

i actually bought dandelion seeds and sowed them everywhere 😂

theyre finally growing this year

I’ve done that too 😂

Let me know next time, I have plenty lol

😂

Classic. Not only dandelions though. We use other greens too

Nearly all the 'weeds' people don't like in conventional gardening are culinary/medicinal plants.

Well then I’m well beyond the point of having enough to start an all-natural, homeopathic pharmacy. Texas knows how to grow weeds. 😂

I have a tincture of it, would recommend the process

Its worse here 😁 At least it stops raining in Texas.
