For the number of billionaires in the world, there is surprisingly very little investment in Aging research. If I was rich, I would put all my wealth into research to make us live longer. It's almost as if humans accepted defeat.

Even the US's National Institute on Aging only appropriates ~400m USD/yr to Aging Biology. That's nothing.

We can indeed buy time. But we have to pre-pay for it.

Do you have numbers or just a hunch? I'm not saying it's not true but I know more longevity vc funds these days than crypto funds and it seems good longevity companies have zero problems with financing.

There are even multiple local vc funds in Central Europe, where there are very few vc funds in general.
