nah, i'm quite certain we, at least most of us, 2/3 is the ratio i've seen many places, are headed for a city in the heavens and after 1000 years a new earth
so um... yeah, that fits in with the expected timeline... geological history of these massive catastrophes suggests that it's really bad for about 400 years and then shitty for another 1000 years, and possibly the last time a micronova occurred the cooling period was broken by a massive swarm of metors that brought a massive amount of energy to the earth, both as they passed into the atmosphere and what craters they made in the ground
the formation of impactors after a micronova is a thing too... because the sun blows up really hard in a micronova, a shitload of material is ejected and much of it doesn't get that far and eventually cools and condenses and goes somewhere
i wish i could just sit down and do more research about this instead of writing code all the time lol
