I made 9 mushrooms 🍄 in 2 days.

I'm finally starting to get the hang of wood turning.

If I keep practicing I should be able to crank one out every 15-20 min or so.

Once I've made 2 dozen of them I'm going to switch to something else.

My goal is to sell things at the local farmer's market once a month.

Any ideas for cool easy things to make that will sell well?

Very nice!

If you’re willing to ship, you could also be a #nostrepreneur and sell for sats.

I know of people that turn locally sourced wood and make fancy ballpoint pens. Great cost to value ratio. Not hard or expensive to make and how classy is having a custom, one of a kind pen? Makes great gifts

If you find a local orchard, every year around trimming time they’ll have good cherry or apple limbs that are perfect. And adds a beautiful “story” in knowing the wood is from a local farm

Then really “sell” the story with a pen presentation box and a small certificate of authenticity vouching the origin of the wood and pen— use good card stock with a stamp or seal and really makes it quite impressive. $5 in total costs that you can sell for $10-20 and the customer will feel like they got $100 in value

Your definitely on to something.

I'll keep at it

I would love to do that at some point.

I'm just learning, so I feel I need to hone my skills more before I start selling online.

Eventually I'll get there.

Maybe some wooden spoons, different sizes and shaprs.

They look great. Following to see your future work.
