There are oases in the desert but yeah, it's pretty dry.

The overwhelming majority of people are here to be seen, not to receive/see others.

That's why so few people actually "light the lamps" and why those who have are such great listeners who offer meaningful feedback.

That distinction - here to be seen vs here to receive - is exactly what makes the difference. The ones who light the lamps are the ones who read first, then respond. Oases in the desert is a good way to put it.

It’s true.. most have lots to say about nothing while dismissing everything that doesn’t align with prior conditioning. Few want to actually share ideas with an open mind. Bitcoiners seem to remain more open minded than others.. but on certain subjects, they are just like everyone else.
