Facts there, coworkers blaming our generation and then can’t move without shits braindeath games.

They also tend to trust their phones, but the majority don’t understand that what happens behind the screen doesn’t necessarily match what they see on the screen. Perhaps it’s because they grew up with “dumb” TVs.

In always yelling at my parents to put their phones down. 🤦🏼‍♂️

and their outrage porn from the MSM

Not my parents. They share a Trac phone. I can't even call them on it because it's usually turned off and the voicemail has never been setup.

Us Zoomers have it bad too.

💯

It’s so true and I don’t remember when this transition happened

It’s been that way since Blackberry. They have been of the right age to afford and need the latest communications tech for business as the latest tech came to market. Addicted to email at first, then other communications apps.

Ahhh idk about that. They could barely figure it out back then. I think maybe it was when they got on Facebook and TikTok.

What you’re saying is that Boomers could barely figure out email on BlackBerry when they were its market? And they get TikTok?

We must have our wires crossed somewhere.

Yeah I think it took them a long time to figure out email. Or they had their kids set up everything for them on their iPhones. Remember that Apple made very easy ux. Once everything got set up, they got hooked on the algorithms.

If you've never been in a room with just genZ, you've never experienced true phone addiction

On the other end, smart watches have replaced feature/dumb phones for kids of millennials. Apple Watch has a standalone cellular plan- no smartphone needed. No screen addiction. $10-$15/mo plans. Just the phone, voice text, and Bitcoin podcasts.
