Truth bomb: there will never be a place where we land, and everyone has the same opportunities. If you want a seat at a particular table, earn it. Yes it is easier for some and harder for others: the only thing that’s equal is the fact that none of us are.
Do the work, show up, bring your expertise or your talent or your insight, and if it is extraordinary, it WILL rise to the top, regardless of inequity.
And if you don’t believe that you will never achieve that and that is on you.
