Whatever scale Nostr is at right now is such a frustrating sweet spot: feels super local, manageable and friendly; most relays relay the same stuff.

Yet, for these same reasons it’s going to explode into big and crazy, like all the incumbent social networks.

It’ll be very interesting to see how relays evolve accordingly. Nostr is going to feel very different to incumbent social media, imo, and in a good way.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing how the relay landscape develops.

I see interest-orientated relays popping up and so much more akin to BBS services in the early Internet days.

All curated into a single feed in the clients.

Zaps and badges ftw.

Glorious.

Don't you think it’s dangerous that interests are clustered into one relay?

What if a government wants to forbid or block the topic? All they have to do now is to nuke that one relay 🤔.

It's much better to post to many unrelated relays or at the very least post to relays in different jurisdictions.

You could have relay clusters and broadcasting (like nostr.wine does today).

Cluster? Does this mean they have a mutual repost agreement?

If diversified over 5-eyes and non-compliant nation-states, then this is very beneficial for the overall stability of the #Nostr ecosystem, yes 😃

Yep, could work like that.
