Thank you! I find traditional mediums easier than digital ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm more of a hands on person.

Its funny you say that about it being a reference image for AI. Character sheets are mandatory for any large animated production before AI became advanced enough to do most of the work for you.

Yeah, I've worked in multimedia my entire life, so I'm super familiar with every facet of pre-production workflows. ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ

I'm curious if you've personally considered integrating #AI to take your own raw concepts & iterate on them to use as your own personal reference sheets & storyboards for your own analog art. ๐Ÿค”

Seems like a compelling use case that I'm currently exploring. ๐Ÿค™

Yup, I am looking to integrate AI into my workflow. Right now it is just really janky, and doesn't meet the consistency I prefer. But a lot of the time it gets it to the point of being "good enough" a lot faster than anything I can do.

The first 15 seconds and last 15 seconds of my music video are actually AI generated because I was on a tight deadline and got a request to extend it 30 seconds in less than a month ๐Ÿ˜‚ I managed to get it done with the help of AI. Maybe my next one will be purely AI with some tweaks.

I never know who has what experience ao it is always fun to meet someone in a the same/similar industry. What multimedia do you specialize in?

Dude. Your style is fucking fire. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Even the opening and closing AI stuff is pretty high-level; kudos. ๐Ÿ‘

As for myselfโ€ฆ everything basically. I cut my teeth over 20+ years in the entire Adobe Master Suite, w/an emphasis that went from web/photo/graphic & color correction, to video/audio editing, to drone/underwater shooting, to motion graphics/VFX, to 3D/animation & compositing, finally ending with live production. I used the entire skillet, embraced social & marketing super early; I've been lucky to have freelanced my entire career & gotten paid to play instead of "work". ๐Ÿค“

I always prided myself on being able to reverse engineer & recreate anything in TV/film/web, as well as playing any role in any multimedia production process (while simultaneously undercutting any competitors). ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ

Now I gotta embrace AI so I don't get replaced by 9-year-olds in India w/GitHub accounts, lol. ๐Ÿซ

Exciting times were living in. ๐Ÿค™

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. ๐Ÿ˜Š it was a struggle at times since you cannot predict what AI will do. I'll give an instruction like "zoom into the face of the statue with glowing eyes" so it'll start zooming but then morph the whole statue into a head with glowing eyes ๐Ÿซ  but that's just what you have to work around with AI ๐Ÿ˜‚

Man, that is quite a list of experience! Jack of all trades in the media - so to say. I started off with mastering the Adobe Suite but ever since last year with their ToS update/mishaps I decided to ditch them for Affinity and Da Vinci. I was getting tired of their shenanigans.

Do you have a website or portfolio of your work? It doesn't look like you post much about that.

But yea AI is definitely an important tool. If you don't learn it you will be obsolete. Kinda like what happened with Traditional Animation being wiped out by Digital and 3D.

No, I scrubbed most of my web presence last year because I was no longer publicly offering my services in that arena & didn't want people hitting me up about it. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I'm in the process of pivoting into other industries where I think my knowledge & skill set can offer others even more value. I still do the occasional small project or pro bono work to knock the rust off or to assist people I personally know/like/respect/admire to help get their thing off the ground. ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ

It was a phenomenal chapter in my life, butโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜

"โ€ฆI've moved on to other things." ๐Ÿค™

Aw too bad. What industries are you pursuing?

I'm moving into social good; SaaS (software as a service) & HaaP (housing as a product). ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ

I feel both are needed far more than the commercial/corporate content & marketing that I used to do. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Even the thought of it is pretty fulfilling, knowing that I will be devoting my life to making the world a more affordable, level playing field for everyone on Earth. ๐Ÿค™

Interesting! Has the transition been hard?

Nah. Piece of cake; it was time. ๐Ÿฐ

Although, I will always have an affinity for creative production, so I will always do it as a hobby. ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ

I started out doing it that way & accidentally fell into a career, so it feels very full-circle and cathartic. ๐Ÿค™
