Proof of work is something I barely understand, can someone in here be patient enough to explaining all me all the layers of it? I'll quote Michael Saylor " satoshi opened a portal into cyberspace" can any1 explain me that in terms of proof of work lol?

The only way bitcoin can be mined is if work was done (calculations). Finding a block is the proof that work was done.
Bitcoin is proof-of-work.
The only way to have muscle is to work. Muscles are proof that work was done.
Muscles are Proof-Of-Work.
Proof-Of-Work is when the work is proven by the sole existence of the thing.
If I have muscles, I don't need to prove anything to you. The proof is there to be seen.
