It’s a lot of work but worth it. I don’t use any chemicals (fertilizers or pesticides).

I thought there wasn't much work to it... just use heavy mulch and let nature take its course
I'm going for a no-work garden!
"Can you really have a productive garden without plowing, hoeing, weeding, cultivating, and all the other bothersome rituals that most gardeners suffer through every growing season? 'Sure', says Ruth Stout, a prolific author and writer at 80 years young. The reason that Ruth can throw away her spade and hoe and do her gardening from a couch is a year-round mulch covering, 6 to 8 inches thick, that covers her garden like a blanket."

The mulch doesn’t appear from nowhere 😀. Also, it’s a constant battle against pests (bugs, birds and critters). I grow on about 1/4 acre enough to feed me almost all year. Harvesting is a lot of work and then cleaning and preserving. I freeze dry a lot.
No quite that easy especially just starting up. I’m always adding to the soil.
Makes sense. Over time, the healthy soil should require little work to maintain besides replenishing the mulch.
Appreciate the convo about farming. So much about btc and I get it, but we need to view btc in the context of everyday life, not an end of its own. Am I wrong?
💯
I'm encouraging people to read Cryptoeconomics, gain a rational understanding of the economics of Bitcoin, and see that holding Bitcoin is not an investment. People still need to invest in the things they want to see more of in the world, whether it's regenerative farming, off grid power generation, or anything else.
I consider holding Bitcoin to be more like saving than investing.
With that said, HODLers maintain a price floor that enables more innovators and businesses to build out the network and create things built on top of Bitcoin that improve the world.
Bitcoin itself improves the world in so many ways - including how it changes the game and enables vastly more off grid power generation.
If you want a book to better understand Bitcoin, the need, and how it benefits the world - check out The Price of Tomorrow, Check Your Financial Privilege, The Bitcoin Standard, and The Fiat Standard.
Thanks
