Proof-of-Work exists far beyond Bitcoin and Nostr. In life if you want to meet a goal, you have to put in the work and try to make it happen.

Like a sorority girl would say "I so needed this" been slogging through work and need to elevate myself.
Saw a great example of that today. Last few years my Da has been completing the coursework and requirements in tandem with a full time job as a machinist that culminated in his ordination as a priest in the episcopal church.

Proof-of-Work should be the almighty principle.
Here is my proof-of-work from this past weekend. It took me 21 hours 18 minutes to finish a 100 KM trail run. This proves I did the necessary training and preparation to complete the race. Sometimes I wonder what society would be like if we required something like an ultra marathon as a requirement for politicians to run for office. At the very least, it would keep these extremely old fucks from further running the country into the ground. 
Damn dude I wish I could accomplish something like this.
You can do it! It helps to get something on your calendar to keep you motivated for training. I’m by no means an elite distance runner but I have finished five 100 mile trail runs and two 100 km runs in the past six years. And don’t get discouraged if you DNF an event I have done that a few times as well. Sometimes a finish is just not in the cards.

One last thing, I tell this to anybody who is interested, if you can do 10 miles at a 10 minute/mile pace you are probably physically fit enough to do a 100 KM. Mental toughness and will power is something you will have to find out on your own when you make the attempt.
My friend wanted to start a merch company this summer, so I made a logo, cut a stencil with a dremel, and we hand-printed shirts this summer. Already sold a bunch.

The reason I posted this is because I have a lot of events over the next year I feel that I must attend. I have to put in the work to make this happen and I'm going to bust my ass to do so, because Nostr is too damn important to not fight for it.
